Laleil Studio by Natasha Lim
is interested in creating experiences and objets d’art through methods that allow for lingering, durational, and ritualistic learning.
The studio makes public photographic knowledge, focusing on nature-centric methods as a subject of study, thus increasing our connection to the natural world.

Cyanotype is a classic alternative photographic technique that uses sunlight to turn light-sensitive paper a deep Prussian blue, capturing the silhouettes of anything placed on its surface.
In this workshop, participants will forage through the Temasek Shophouse community farm, gather leaves and flowers from its themed planters, and use them to "cook up" their own botanical print recipes, leaving with two one-of-a-kind A5 cyanotype prints as a keepsake of the plants they discovered.

An Exercise in Trust is conceived as a window into the artist's personal practice — an invitation to hear oneself through the language of drawing and experimental photography.
Through a series of guided conversations with the artist, you'll explore your own voice in the 'dark', creating a one-of-a-kind image that can only exist because you trusted the process and yourself.
The booth showcases the chemigram process, in which participants work with a series of materials to build their prints entirely by hand in semi-darkness. Each participant leaves with their own A5 silver gelatin print. The session stays conversational throughout, treating emotional trust as a source of creative power.
